Using a Bahamas Sim with a Wirie Pro can be straight forward. We will try to answer some basic questions based on inquiries received.
You can order a data only BTC Bahamas sim for use in a Data device.. i.e. Wirie Pro. The data plan must be activated using an unlocked mobile phone. The sim card is triple cut which means it will fit into any sim slot on a GSM phone. So you put the sim into a phone, use the phone subscribe to the BTC data plan. Once subscribed, you you receive a message on the phone from BTC confirming data subscription.
After you see the message you can put the sim into the Wirie Pro and set the APN : internet.btcbahamas.com. Leave the username and password empty.

Once the BTC data plan begins, it will auto renew each 30 days as long as there is enough money on the line to cover the cost of the data plan at renewal time. If the balance is too low to renew the data plan stops and you will now need to renew by placing the sim into an unlocked phone to activate data again. If you finish your allotment of data before the 30 day cycle ends you will renew by placing the sim into an unlocked phone to activate data again.

Register the IMEI of the phone you are using to subscribe to data. Do not register the imei of the Wirie.
