Configuring Data

You should be able to use everything as soon as you pop in your Vivo Brazil sim card and subscribe to data service. If you find a particular feature that is not working we have provided the steps and settings you can enter manually.

Data Settings

Edit the details for MOBILE DATA as follows:
Under APN, enter zap.vivo.com.br
Under Username, enter vivo
Under Password, enter vivo

Combo plans (Vivo Turbo)
Combo plans are called Vivo Turbo (for activation text "TURBO" to 9003). There are options with different validity:

In some provinces of Brazil (where Vivo is not the first in market share) you will get slightly more data or more voice minutes for other operators. You can add daily data add-ons for more data or renew the Turbo plan by texting "ANTECIPE" to 9003.

Three weekly add-on packages are offered in addition to Turbo plans:
* 30 mins to all domestic providers: R$ 1.99
* 1 GB for social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest): R$ 2.99
* 2 GB for video and audio streaming (Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, Napster): R$ 4.99; activation.
Activation is through *9003.

Monthly prepaid data-only (Prepaid Mensal)
For tablets and modems Vivo sells Prepaid Mensal. This is a data-only SIM, but not such a good deal as you can only book the monthly packages and add-ons mentioned under Internet packages shown above. It costs R$ 19.90 for 400 MB.
